An homage to @asotband , based on the lore of their character, Udoroth. A hand of an imp of Udoroth, nailed to his seal. A ward against the demon lord to avoid his prying eyes and evil grasp. After seeing this hand in my bits box, I had an urge to make an oddities shop style prop, I think it came out pretty good!

This mummy was a pain in the butt. The paints would chalk up on me, or the consistency would be wrong. The brushes started to show their age, and for some reason I was super shaky today. It's nice to look back and see what you have worked on over the year. It's surprising what you forget as the months go by. Even with moving taking up a good bit of the year. I created some logos for a few bands and brands, as well as a few graphics for the fun of it. Also, after building out a new painting table, I got some minis painted up! GW technical ardcoat is great for adding wet texture to figures. I sealed the paint with a matte varnish and then brushed on the ardcoat on the wounds, brain, and mouth. It adds so much!

Some painting practice to speed up for better models faster. I spend way too long painting one figure, so it makes me hesitant to paint. I hyper focus and if I don't get to a good stop point I can't sleep. So it's always both too early, and too late to paint. So this time I sat down and just set a few hours and said I'll stop when the time hits. I'll revisit the zombie later, but I'm calling the skeleton a good learning experience and done. #miniaturepainting #paintingminiatures

Since it's Orktober I knew I had to hit this mini up first, and with its hair I had to make a version of myself, down the the free hand kilt! I've been in a big slump after moving, and just couldn't pull myself up to start painting. I just felt uninspired and down lately, it sucks when you feel loss of interest in the things you love. Tonight I made myself just sit down and do it, it was so nice to get back. Stay tuned for the final result!

Today I had the chance to try the #stevenrhodes games collection, I have tried 2 of the 3 games and they are a lot of fun. Let's summon demons can be a really cutthroat game if you want it to be, very solid gameplay. Let's dig for treasure is a good random chance and odds game that you gotta push your luck to win, great for two or more players in all sorts of situations. I look forward to playing the third!
