Seven days of 1961: A dangerous ride on the road to freedom

USA TODAY had the opportunity to interview Hank Thomas, who was a Freedom Rider on the bus that was attacked in Alabama.

Step back in time and see Hank's experience on that day.

This experience brings an exhibit into your home, users will get on the bus headed for Alabama, and be confronted in Anniston by a Klan led mob. We created the piece to feel like the user is brought into a graphic novel, and witness the events unfold as Hank retells his story.
