Explore the fog of war

Working with the USA TODAY Investigative team, this project reproduced a simulation of a Village in Afghanistan. A military raid and airstrike led to this being one of the biggest tragedies in the Afghan war. In this experience, the user is guided through narration by the investigative reporter himself, as he reveals his findings about how the story happened.

Working with the reporter, I was able to rebuild the village in 3D. We then worked together to build out a script that translated his story into one that would work for Augmented Reality, which I recorded with him and edited to the final cut.
