We are Breonna

The Courier Journal reached out to Black women in Louisville, Kentucky to call in and share their feelings of being a Black woman in America, and the impact of the killing of Breonna Taylor.

This experience shares the voices of 17 women from Breonna's home town. We designed it so users can explore and listen at their own pace, the stories these women tell are powerful and heartbreaking. Please take your time and listen to the important thoughts they have shared.
